Mission Statement
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, Ephesians Chapter 4
2 Timothy Chapter 4, verses 4 and 5
But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but to all who crave his appearing.
As the sun rose and set on November Third of Two Thousand Twenty for the very last day for me, God was preparing a new work to begin in my beautiful family. Maybe you did not understand why I could no longer be here with you to finish the work. But God said I started a good work outside the walls of the church house and it was time to take my rest. He assured me that instructions were left imprinted on your hearts and in your minds of how the work is to be continued. Until we all meet again and as the Eastern sky opens wide as the size of a man’s hand and that trumpet is blown for the very last time.
As we enter that gate called Beautiful, we will smile and say “Thank you God. I made it over.” Until that time Quincy V. Lineberger, your family vows to you that your work on earth has not and will not got unnoticed. More importantly it will not be in vain. For God has planted our feet on a firm foundation to build this good work that you have started.
The Quincy V. Lineberger Foundation Board is comprised of men and women who are undergraduates Alumni and Graduate School pupils that have been willing vessels to carry on the legacy of your wisdom, love, and concern for others.
The Foundation will offer two scholarships that will be awarded annually to deserving students that meet the rules and guidelines set by Board of Directors and Board of Education.
We will set aside funds to assist families with meals during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season and assistance for the elderly.
We have a longlist of goals and desires to help our community and those around us. These things take time. But with your prayers and with the help of God, the Quincy V. Lineberger Foundation may not go down as the largest "Help Agency" but we will definitely be known as the organization that is always "Closer Than A Brother"
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which had begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"
